The challenge
Helixa's operations team manually keyed data from thousands of supplier documents each week. Formats varied wildly, errors caused payment delays and month-end close took days longer than it should.
Our solution
We combined layout-aware OCR with language models to classify documents and extract fields and line items. Business rules validate totals, tax and purchase-order matches; low-confidence items land in a review queue with the source highlighted.
